All pets must be accompanied by a certificate of good health signed by a licensed veterinarian within 1 month prior to departure, as well as proof of rabies vaccination. Also, the pet owner must sign a form authorizing emergency care for the pet if necessary.

According to USDA regulations, pets must have adequate room to sit up, turn around and lay down in their natural position. When estimating the size of the kennel needed for your pet, please add at least 6 inches to the length and height of your pet.
If, prior to transporting an animal, our driver determines that a larger kennel size is required to accommodate your pet, you will be charged for the upgrade to a larger kennel. Your pet's comfort is our primary concern.

We GTe Pets will supply the leash for exercising your pet, but we do ask that your pet wear a properly fitted collar.
We GT Pets supplies everything else - from the bottled water, toys and treats, to the comfy beds. Of course, if your pet has a favorite toy, he can bring that also.

We are registered professional pet handlers with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. All our procedures meet or exceed USDA Animal Welfare Act specifications.

Both organizations operate without government funding, and can only survive with community and corporate support. Below are the vaccination and health requirements for dogs and cats entering the United States from other countries.
With the exception of pets entering the state of Hawaii, there is no quarantine for pets arriving in the US from overseas at this time.
1) International Health Certificate - Within 10 days of departure your vet will need to issue an International Health Certificate as required by all airlines. This certificate states that your pet is in good health and OK to fly.
2) Rabies Vaccination & Certificate - In general, it is required that dogs be vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days prior to entry, except for puppies younger than 3 months and dogs originated or located for 6 months in areas considered to be free of rabies. Dogs and cats coming from areas not free of rabies must be accompanied by a valid rabies vaccination certificate. If a vaccination has not been performed, or if the certificate is not valid, the animal may be admitted if it is confined immediately upon arrival at a place of the owner's choosing. The dog must be vaccinated within four days after arrival at the final destination, but no more than 10 days after arrival at the port of entry. The animal must remain in confinement for at least 30 days after being vaccinated.

"Private" means that your dog or cat (or any other pet) will be the only animal in our van with the driver. 100% of the driver's attention is given to your pet; this is the royal treatment you want to give those special pets. If your pets could select a transportation service, they'd probably pick our private shipping services!
